At approximately 4:30pm on Sunday February 25, 2024, Engine 49 with a crew of five were dispatched to assist Station 19 (Earl Township) on a reported Structure Fire. Personal from Station 19 arrived on location and found a two-story single-family dwelling with heavy fire showing to the rear of the structure. Chief 19 arrived and struck second alarm to get resources on the road. E49-1 and Utility 49 made a response. Upon arrival E49 established a dump site at the bottom of the driveway to supply water to the fire scene. Chief 49 was place in command of water supply operations. Crews from E49 assisted with initial fire attack and overhall operations. Crews operated on the scene for approximately 4hrs. Thank you to Montgomery County Station 58 (Sanatoga) for standing by and covering for us while we were tied up. The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the State Police Fire Marshals office.
