At approximately 0240 this morning Station 49 was dispatched to assist Boyertown Area Fire Rescue (Station 95) on a second alarm working fire. Engine 49 with a crew of 4 responded and assumed primary Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) once arriving on location. Crews operating on scene for approximately two and a half hours and were released shortly before 6am. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
