Amity Fire Company recently responded to a serious motorcycle accident at the intersection of Route 562 and Spotts Mill Road in Amity Township.

Firefighters and first responders worked quickly at the scene to provide care and assist the injured rider. Thanks to the coordinated efforts of everyone involved, the rider survived and began his road to recovery.

What made the call especially meaningful was when the rider, Darren, later returned to Amity Fire Company to personally thank the first responders who came to his aid. His visit was a powerful reminder of why our volunteers answer the call—because every response represents a person, a family, and a life that matters.

For the members of Amity Fire Company, having him walk through and say “thank you” was a moment they will not soon forget.

We are grateful to have been there when our community needed us, and we wish him continued healing and recovery!
